All players that have officially registered for the BCEHL either as a full time or part time participant on any team have agreed to the league player code of conduct as noted here:
The Bluenose Co-Ed Hockey League is one that encourages fun and an environment where every player can enjoy their passion for the sport of hockey. In signing this player agreement, I agree to the following:
- Players are expected to act professional on and off the ice while at the rink / arena and treat one another with respect, demonstrating sportsmanship.
- Players are to shake hands / fist pumps at the end of the game with the opposing team
- Racial or prejudice slurs, insults or any related behaviour will not be tolerated and will be subject to the league’s disciplinary committee and/or subject to the league owner's discretion to suspend any player for these actions without refund.
- This is an Intermediate / Beginner-Friendly League. Skilled intermediate players are welcome; however, players must play a team game. If skaters want to dominate, hog the puck, and not pass we ask that you not sign up. Players may be asked to leave the league if they are not adhering to the BCEHL Code of Conduct or are deemed too skilled for this league, i.e. a semi-pro player.
