BCEHL Cole Teammate of the Year Award 2024

We are pleased to present the Adam Cole Teammate of the Year award to two well-deserving recipients this season.

This award is presented to the BCEHL player demonstrating fair, generous, and supportive treatment of others in the league.

Sara MacNevin - Arrows

One of BCEHL's younger players, Sara was nominated by multiple members in the league and it just makes sense. Comments like "great teammate, pleasure to play against, always smiling, great energy" ... were but a few compliments she received. Great job Sara and the Rebels look forward to signing you as a full timer this coming season (don't tell the Arrows). Congrats!!

Kenny Cameron - Privateers

A long-standing Privateer, Kenny received multiple nominations this season as expected. Some great comments ... " A golden ray of positivity in the dressing room, and an exemplar model of sportsmanship on the ice for teammates, officials and opponents. Kenny makes going to the rink better."

“KC has always demonstrated what it means to be a great teammate, never one to point the finger or get rattled but instead always giving 100% and pulling his line mates with him. He will be missed by the Privateers for his leadership, compassion, humour and hard work." Thanks for everything Kenny and best of luck in Ontario!

Congrats to Sara and Kenny!

It is in memory of Rebels teammate, Detective Constable Adam Cole who passed away Nov 27, 2018. Adam was a great teammate. His energy, good nature and genuine enjoyment for the game contributed to a positive atmosphere on the team on and off the ice.
